SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Supply/Traffic Manager to support a government customer in Curacao. The ideal candidate will have at least 10 years’ experience in Air Force Material Management or contractor Supply Chain Management on a US Air Force support contract.


  • Deliver on all demands, distributions, and fulfillment of goods to support the base operations support contract.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate activities of buyers, procurement specialists, and logistics/operations support involved in purchasing and delivering materials, products, and services.
  • Manage staff located on site.
  • Supervise and perform item and monetary accounting and inventory stock control, financial planning, and funds control.
  • Compute requirement, determine allowance, and research and identify supplies and equipment requirements.
  • Supervise and perform operations involved in storage, inspection, identification, and receipt of property.
  • Perform and monitor management (and procedural application) of automated inventory control actions.
  • Compute and accumulate data for use in analysis.
  • Help develop work standards and methodology.
  • Perform inventories and ensure timely correction of discrepancies.
  • Prepare, analyze, and evaluate reports, procedures, and policy data.
  • Provide support to maintenance activities. Coordinate with maintenance activities on repairable component actions.
  • Control and issue bench stock property. Obtain material required for equipment modification, periodic component exchange, and bills of material in support of maintenance.
  • Establish and maintain relationship with subcontractors and vendors that provide goods and/or services to the contract.
  • Plan, direct, or coordinate transportation, storage, and distribution activities in accordance with organizational policies and applicable government laws or regulations.
  • Develop and/or update SOPs to ensure continued alignment with evolving mission requirements.
  • Responsible for the operations of the program in accordance with the established company and Government policies, procedures, systems, and requirements.
  • Create an atmosphere of comradery in the workforce and promote open communication.
  • Evaluate and assess the programs’ strengths & weaknesses; drive continuous improvement.
  • Assist with the development of systems, processes, and tools to enhance program performance.
  • Process customs/duty free documentation.
  • Prepare and inspect hazardous materials for shipment.


  • Active in Scope Secret security clearance.
  • Associates degree in Logistics, Supply Management, or Business.
  • Certification Requirements:
    • American Production & Inventory Control Society (APICS) certification.
    • Certifications in surface, air, and sea freight movements required
    • Certificate of training from a traffic management school required
    • Certificate of training in Hazardous Materials required
    • 1387-2 certification required
    • Proven ability to accomplish customs documentation for duty free shipments required
  • 10 years’ experience in USAF 2S0X0/1 career field or comparable service component field.
  • Experience with regulations, manuals, technical orders, standards, and industry publications related to logistics support.
  • Prior experience managing OCONUS supply and transportation operations.
  • Experience managing DoD property.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.
