SOSi is seeking an In-Country Program Manager to support a large Base Operations Support (BOS) program providing logistics and life support services to our U.S. government customer in Iraq. The ideal candidate will have experience working on other large BOS and life support programs in contingency environments.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for maintaining a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
  • Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals.
  • Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
  • Responsible for managing, monitoring and tracking property based on site location, type and Manage an accurate inventory of all property.
  • Maintain and update property records.
  • Acts as the Contractor’s principal property management representative ensuring that all task order requirements are met.
  • Responsible for allocating and managing staff resources according to changing needs
  • Manage property staff.
  • Inspects property to ensure compliance with safety policies.
  • Liaise and negotiate with customers and suppliers.
  • Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements to perform task order
  • Plan and manage projects.
  • Control resources; monitor staff proficiency and qualifications.
  • Monitor the locations and activities of assets; and coordinate the follow if information to and from O&M staff.
  • Resolve O&M issues.

Qualifications

  • Active in Scope Secret security clearance.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Construction, Facilities, Contracts, or related field.
    • Licenses and Certifications: International Facility Management Association (IFMA) certification as a Certified Facility Manager (CFM) or Building Owners and Managers Institute (BOMI) Facilities Management Certification (FMC) or Association for facilities Engineering (AEF) certification as a Certified Professional Maintenance Manager (CPMM).  
  • Fifteen15 years O&M support services and/or facilities management experience with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in providing such services to large facilities or operations.
  • Valid driver’s license from home of record.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the theories, principles, and practices of project management.
  • Demonstrated ability to provide leadership and collaboration in diverse environments.
  • Excellent English oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent demonstrated organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent demonstrated interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent demonstrated critical thinking skills.
  • Expert computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Demonstrated knowledge and experience in the U.S. Government Contracting industry.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desired, but not required. 

Working Conditions

  • Willingness to live and work under environmental and other conditions that may be uncomfortable or hazardous at times.
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
  • Requires periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
