SOSi is seeking a Food Services Manager to support a U.S. Government customer in Iraq.  The Food Services Manager report to the Program Manager and supports the PM in managing all facets of food services to the Chief of Mission (COM) sites. The duties and responsibilities listed are representative of the nature and level of work assigned and are not necessarily all inclusive.

• Maintain a safe workplace and ensuring safety is the highest priority in the workplace.
• Comply with all Environmental & Safety and Quality Assurance requirements and goals. Provide information and materials to these divisions as necessary to ensure adequate and legal documentation.
• Manage, monitor, and track contract food services.
• Allocate and manage food service staff resources according to changing needs.
• Identify problem areas and respond to mission requirements to perform contract requirements.
• Manage food services operations for all sites.
• Control resources; monitor food service staff proficiency and qualifications; monitor the locations and activities of food service assets; and coordinate the flow of information to and from task order staff and USG representatives.
• Resolve food service related issues on the contract.
• Perform additional duties and projects as assigned.
• Achieve company and client financial targets and goals to include oversight of cash-handling and the POS system.
• Develop and maintain client and customer relationships.
• Motivate, coach, mentor and develop frontline staff.
• Ensure all U.S. Government and SOSi standards, policies, procedures, and guidelines are met to include compliance with company food and physical safety programs.

• Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) or be able to obtain a favorable MRPT certification or US Government clearance prior to being hired is required for the position. Must maintain eligibility at the required clearance level for the duration of the task order.
• Associate degree in Food and Beverage, or Hospitality field or discipline.
• Ten (10) years of expeditionary food services support management experience with a minimum of five (5) years’ experience in providing such services to large non-military operations equivalent to college campus cafeterias and/or large restaurants.
• Must maintain physical and dental requirements for duration of deployment.
• Valid driver’s license from home of record.
• Demonstrated working knowledge of food service activities for a comparable operation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage food services and logistics staff.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment that requires handling multiple tasks at a given time and rapidly adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
• Ability to fully execute the food service duties and responsibilities.
• Excellent analytical, organizational, problem solving and time management skills.
• Expert computer skills, specifically Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Ability to become an active and functioning member of a team.
• Ability to be innovative and be an agent for change.
• Good verbal and written communication skills to direct employees, prepare reports for upper management and facilitate/disseminate information.
• Satisfactory English proficiency to meet job requirements.

• Relevant overseas facilities management experience.
• Previous international experience and previous work experience in harsh environmental conditions.
• Experience working with Contractor.
• Cross-cultural sensitivity with an international perspective.
• Experience working with point of sale systems in the food service industry.

• Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
• Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
• Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
