SOSi is seeking a Chinese (Mandarin - Traditional, Taiwanese) Linguist who serves as a natively fluent Chinese (Mandarin - Traditional, Taiwanese) Linguist supporting a social media program in Tampa, FL. Develops and maintains expertise with designated regional issues and draws upon publicly available online information resources. Reads, analyzes, and drafts communications regarding regional and ideological discussions in specified foreign language media environments.

• Examines current media statements or postings to support trend analysis and identifies key communicators.
• Demonstrates reading and writing expertise in the assigned language and incorporates custom social media solutions to comprehend online environments and communicate trends effectively.
• Supports operations planning.
• Demonstrates knowledge of online social media and different technologies, and documents activities, notes, informative papers, or whitepapers written in English.
• Some travel may be required.
• Ability to work nonstandard hours and in on-call status for periods of time may be required.

• Ability to obtain and maintain a secret clearance.  Active in-scope Secret Clearance is preferred. 
• Bachelor’s degree in a related business or technical discipline.
• Requires BA degree and 5+ years of related experience, including supervisory experience. Experience may be substituted in lieu of degree.
• Strong written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills; selected candidates will be language-tested.

• OSINT experience.
• Military or Department of Defense experience.

• Fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Must be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment.
• Some evening, weekend, or shift work could be required.
• Some travel may be required.
