The Vice President of Market Strategy and Growth is a key member of the Exovera executive leadership team responsible for creating and driving the company’s overall market strategy and growth agenda for major customer segments.  This position also plays a pivotal role in building Exovera’s profile across senior levels of government and industry and positioning the company as a thought leader across the open-source intelligence community.  This is a highly influential role reporting directly to the CEO with the opportunity to shape Exovera’s future market positioning and growth agenda. 

  • Develop and execute market growth strategy – Collaborate with the CEO and other Exovera executives to identify and prioritize major department/agency-level business growth opportunities and develop an integrated strategy for driving business growth. Priority market targets may include U.S. government departments/agencies, COCOMs/major commends, international partners, and commercial indusrty. This strategy will reflect an integrated sales approach that brings the full range of Exovera’s product offerings to bear on customer mission challenges – e.g., open-source analysis, data access as a service, data discovery and curation as a service, and integrated media monitoring/narratives platform solutions.
  • Influence development of next generation product offerings/capabilities – Collaborate with colleagues across the business to help inform and shape Exovera’s next generation of product offerings based on your understanding and insight with respect to evolving customer mission requirements and vision. Facilitate access/discussion with potential customers to inform Exovera’s understanding and approach in translating future customer requirements into higher impact/value and higher margin product lines.
  • Build strategic partnerships - Identify, mature, and optimize strategic partnerships with technology innovators, large scale AI/Data Science providers and strategic Government and Commercial clients across the IC, DoD, Federal Law Enforcement, and commercial industry to advance the business.  Collaborate with technical and product development teams in maturing strategic industry relationships for co-development and core technical exchanges in support of business growth objectives.
  • Thought leadership and industry outreach – Create and lead execution of a strategy for raising Exovera’s thought-leadership profile across key government, industry, and academic organizations in support of overall business objectives. Specific channels for outreach could include U.S. and International government working groups, open-source industry/professional organizations, technical conferences, academic forums/consortiums, and corporate strategic partnerships.  Collaborate with subject matter experts and marketing staff to create thought leadership pieces and viewpoints that can be used as part of outreach efforts and broader marketing and sales campaigns.


  • Masters degree preferred or relevant years experience combined with relevant government/industry professional certifications
  • 25 years’ experience, with at least 10 years in senior level leadership positions
  • Active TS/SCI with at least a CI polygraph and current background investigation
  • Experience leading senior level client and industry conferences, seminars, and collaboration forums
  • Requires periods of non-traditional hours including consecutive nights or weekends when necessary.

Working Conditions

  • Travel: Locally for client meetings; domestic and international as desired
