Overview

**This position is contingent on contract award** 

 

SOS International LLC (SOSi), is seeking a Program Manager to support the United States Army on Ft. Bragg, NC.  The ideal candidate have the skills and experience necessary to plan, coordinate, and direct the activities of administrative, project, and technical personnel to meet contractual requirements.

The Program Manager has authority to act on behalf of SOSi and full responsibility for the overall effective management and allocation of the personnel and resources necessary to meet all program contract specifications.  The program manager is responsible for all program related issues and will make decisions that impact both performance and cost. 

Responsibilities

  • Provide overall direction of program activities and management of personnel.

  • Manage schedules to provide on time performance of all aspects of the contract.

  • Provide direction for operations, ensuring compliance with all management policies and procedures.

  • Provide recommendations for the resolution of technical problems.

  • Act as the primary contractor interface with senior levels of the customer organization for all matters involving contract execution.

  • Regularly meet with the COR and GTLs as necessary to ensure quality contractor performance.

  • Manage timely and accurate submission of all required CDRL reports.

  • Coordinate with program logistician to manage and track inventory effectively.

  • Coordinate the on-time purchase and delivery of contract materials and goods with the COR, logistician, and corporate procurement.

  • Represent management at program reviews, meetings, industry day events, etc.
  • Participate in contract/subcontract negations on issues pertaining to contract requirements and changes.

Qualifications

  • Active in scope Secret clearance.

  • DoD 8570 IAT-II baseline certification (Security+ preferred).

  • PMP certification required.

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Business, Management, Information Technology, or related field.
  • 10+ years of relevant Program/Project management experience, ideally in an Army enterprise environment.

  • Knowledge and experience with DOD/Army policies, standards, and methods aimed at the acquisition and support of military systems.

  • Capable of managing and controlling schedules and cost to provide on time performance of all aspects of the contract within budget.

  • Thorough understanding and experience in the complete life-cycle management of military systems.

  • Experience planning personnel requirements and changing mission requirements.

  • Excellent communication, presentation, and customer interface skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • 10+ years managing large scale programs/projects in a military enterprise environment.

  • Extensive Experience with Service Desk Management, Network Operations and Security Centers, Datacenter support, DevOps, and other telephony systems.

  • Experience managing projects with personnel at multiple locations.

  • Experience managing projects with significant procurement activities.

  • Experience managing projects with multiple subcontractors.

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desired.
