SOSi is currently seeking a Senior Counterintelligence (CI) Support Specialist to support a large intelligence support services contract in the CENTCOM AOR. The program supports the coordination, planning, and execution of intelligence collection operations, exploitation, production, dissemination, and analytic support in coordination with other entities and agencies in Jacksonville, Florida.

Responsibilities

  • Review data collected and cross-reference intelligence collection priorities and plans in order to ensure proper identification and categorization.
  • Conduct other intelligence supporting activities related to intelligence support operations, using appropriate Government authorization and oversight.
  • Utilize the CI/HUMINT principles, methods and unit mission to conduct activities in support of Senior CI Specialists.
  • Assist in the preparation of theatre-level counterintelligence estimate by reviewing CI reports from various sources.
  • Assist in the production of intelligence analysis related to counterinsurgent issues in support of CI activities and CI support to force protection, especially as information is related to collection. efforts in support of the customer’s collection requirements.
  • Prepare CI Reports in accordance with theater guidance.
  • Assist in identifying and processing national CI/HUMINT reporting.
  • Maintain information system security.

Qualifications

  • Active in scope TS/SCI within the last five years OR Open Periodic Reinvestigation (PR) PR enrolled in Continuous Evaluation (CE) with a current CI scope polygraph – (with minimum one year currency) OR willing to undergo CI scope Polygraph prior to deployment PLUS
  • Bachelor’s Degree preferred or eight years direct relevant intelligence analyst experience in lieu of education.
  • 8 years analytical experience at the operational/strategic level within DoD or equivalent Government agencies and requires former MOS 35F, 350F, 18F, 35D, 34A, or USMC – 0205 Master Analyst, 0210, - CI/HUMINT Officer, 0231 Intelligence Specialist, 0239 Intelligence Analyst, 0291 Intelligence Chief OR U.S. Navy – Navy Intelligence Specialist OR USAF – 71S4 or 7S0X1 SI or 1N791 HUMINT Specialist, 1N490 Intelligence Fusion Analyst or other equivalent DoD Joint Service or other service specialty codes is a plus.
  • Proficient in utilizing standard computer applications and intelligence related automation to support analytical efforts and product development.
  • Possess strong research, analytical, and writing skills.
  • Be capable of effectively operating as a member of an analytical team from a remote location in support of CJOA requirements.
  • Briefing skills to include the ability to clearly articulate complex information.
  • Deployed experience in Syria, Afghanistan, Iraq/SWA regional issues, and HUMINT, CI CT military analysis.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Master’s degree or 12 years of direct relevant intelligence analyst.
  • Experience in either CI/HUMINT, CT and political/military analysis in other AORs.
  • Formerly badged and credentialed CI Agent.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

  • Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions
  • Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions
