• Design and develop scalable, high availability, high performance data processing and storage components
• Design and develop pipelines for data acquisition and ingestion, enabling detailed data analytics using industry leading tools and capabilities
• Lead the modernization of a complex data environment by conducting detailed analysis of underlying data framework, determining business needs, and designing solutions
• Write code to improve ETL, and data pipelines and data processing services
• Collaborate with a team of exceptionally talented developers, engineers, data scientists, and analysts
• Provide guidance and leadership related to data engineering to junior software development team members
• Attend daily standups and help with the agile development process

• 4+ years of professional experience in a data related role (analyst, administrator, engineer)
• Experience with data related applications/tools including SQL, NoSQL, Columnar, or Graph databases (SQLServer, MongoDB, MinIO, ElasticSearch, OpenSearch, DynamoDB, ArangoDB, Neo4j, etc.)
• Solid knowledge of scripting languages
• Experience working in cloud environments (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
• Experience working in UNIX/Linux platforms
• Previous work in an Agile environment
• Ability to obtain a government security clearance
