The SOSi team is growing in Europe and we are looking for talented and dedicated Network System Administrators to support an IT program based in Wiesbaden, Germany. SOSi is a family-owned government contractor with a long history of providing technical solutions to customers performing challenging missions.
• Provide network service and support for coalition networks architecture
• Provide technical guidance, operational guidance, and program decision-making for network architectures, including LAN, WAN, wireless, VPN, MPLS and other networks
• Configures, tests, and maintains LAN/WAN equipment and related services
• Coordinate installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and fine-tuning of coalition networks including all hardware, software, telecommunications, and networking components
• Develop plans and designs for network modifications and enhancements
• Install, test, and sustain Customer Edge (CE) Router, and other enterprise servers, Area Bridging
• Switches (ABS), Area Core Switches (ACS), Area Distribution Switches (ADS), Edge Access Switches (EAS), as required
• Interface with external and internal teams to analyze, administer and maintain voice, video, and/or data communications networks
• Build network security and ensure compliance with security policies and procedures
• Interface with vendors to ensure appropriate resolution during network outages or periods of
• reduced performance
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for all implemented networks
• Perform preventative maintenance on layer 2/3 devices
• May require participation in a 24x7 on-call rotation
• Other duties as assigned
