We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Backend Software Engineer II to join our growing team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in software development, and a passion for building scalable and efficient backend systems.

• Design and develop robust and scalable backend systems to support web and mobile applications.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand and define system requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code, and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot and debug system issues and optimize system performance.
• Continuously evaluate and implement new technologies and tools to improve system capabilities.
• Work with the front-end developers to ensure seamless integration between the front-end and back-end systems.
• Participate in the design and development of APIs and microservices.

• 3-5 years of experience in software development or related field.
• Strong hands-on experience with backend development, especially in one of the following languages: Java, Python, or Go.
• Experience with databases, such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software design principles.
• Experience with cloud-based infrastructure and services, such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Experience with containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
• Strong problem solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Ability to obtain US government Security clearance.
