Overview

SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking an experienced FM/FTX Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Fort Meade, MD.

Responsibilities

  • Review incoming service tickets and determine appropriate level of maintenance.
  • Track work orders and close them upon completion. Provide the government monthly status reports of all open tickets.
  • Inspect the building for cleanliness and safety, ensure fire extinguishers and first aid kits are current, serviceable, and up to date.
  • Inspect bathrooms daily for cleanliness and serviceability.
  • Report any findings to the government.
  • Schedule vehicle requests with instructors and staff through the Transportation Motor Pool (TMP) and assigned vehicles.
  • Inspect vehicles with requesters during the issue and turn-in of government vehicles. Inspect for proper fuel levels, cleanliness, and serviceability.
  • Work with TMP for vehicles requiring service. If a vehicle is found to be unacceptable due to the listed conditions reports discrepancies directly to the Government. Ensure Field Training Site (FTX) is clean and serviceable.
  • Schedule use of the FTX with instructors and staff, does joint inventory with the end user ensuring the site is clean, safe, and equipment is signed for by the end user.
  • Make periodic site inspections to ensure proper sanitary and safety measures are being adhered to, briefs government on any issues.
  • Close site at completion of training performing joint inventory with the end user and ensures the site is returned clean and equipment is secured.
  • Ensure all safety equipment such as eye wash station, hand sanitizer and porta potties are available, serviceable, and clean.
  • Works with the government to turn in excess and unserviceable equipment through DRMO.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Candidate must possess or be eligible for favorable T1 (NACI, national Agency Check) investigation.
  • Knowledge of the organization and the established policies and procedures to set up and maintain an economical and efficient scheduling system for projects, availability of materials and equipment needed to meet objectives.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and requirements for protective clothing and gear, certifications for personnel and various equipment, testing procedures, Job Safety Analysis, HAZMAT requirements, MSD sheets and other documentation.
  • Knowledge of scheduling and rescheduling/ modifying maintenance time frames using understanding of crafts needed and sequence of work.
  • Basic knowledge of warehousing and inventory management to control the stock in facilities storage areas.
  • Skill in operating a computer and peripherals to input, retrieve, and manipulate data, and to prepare correspondence, forms, and reports.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of workers to clarify information or instructions and solve discrepancies or problems.
  • Ability to utilize good interpersonal relationship skills to collaborate on work efforts with all project personnel and promote a harmonious work environment.
  • Must be proficient in communicating effectively in English, both orally and in writing.
  • Knowledge of the principles, techniques, and practices related to supply systems, logistics management and functions, specifically property book operations and equipment regulations and procedures.
  • Knowledge of equipment authorization and requesting, reporting, and turn-in procedures to provide advice, ensure proper procedures are taken, and determine source of supply and availability.
  • Skill in operating a computer and peripherals to input, retrieve, and manipulate data, and to prepare correspondence, forms, and reports.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of workers to clarify information or instructions and solve discrepancies or problems.
  • Must be proficient in communicating effectively in English, both orally and in writing.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Active in scope SECRET clearance.
  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable)
