Overview

SOS International, LLC (SOSi) is currently seeking an Associate Applications Systems Analyst in Fort Huachuca, AZ. The ideal candidate will be someone who possesses experience in providing cutting edge services in support of the RCC-C. 

Responsibilities

  • Provision, test, and monitor policy changes for Information Systems
  • Correct system and application problems identified in event logs
  • Review and monitor event logs and user access logs provide routine system updates
  • Provide account management services to create, modify, and delete administrator and user accounts
  • Respond to automatically generated trouble tickets for changes in status and assign them to the appropriate analyst
  • Provide guidance to team members as required
  • Patch systems
  • Troubleshoot application errors, operating system(s), server hardware, network communications and storage allocation issues within the environment
  • Utilize Remedy ITSM to track and resolve problems impacting continued system operations and make recommendations for any corrective actions required
  • Plan, coordinate, and document the use of revised/updated procedures, processes, and methods for the operations and maintenance of the system
  • Provide "on-call" support after business hours and during weekends when required
  • Deals with pressure and conflict decisively and effectively

Qualifications

  • Active in scope SECRET clearance or the ability to obtain Interim SECRET eligibility
  • HS +2 yrs similar technical experience or AA/AS or BS/BA
  • An IAT II certification (CCNA-Security, CND, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, or SSCP) is required
  • Must acquire Microsoft server specific certification (ex. MCP 70-410 or AZ-900 or 98-365)or higher within 180 days of hire
  • Ability to perform on-call and after duty hours as needed
  • Communicate effectively both orally and in a written form with users and office staff
  • Capable of explaining complex procedures both verbally and in writing
  • Work independently and within a team structure
  • Ability to set priorities and organize work to meet deadlines
  • Establish and maintain a cooperative working relationship with those contacted during the course of the work day
  • Ability to solve problems quickly and completely in a logical manner

Preferred Qualifications

  • Fluency in a foreign language is desirable, but not required.

Working Conditions

  • Working conditions are normal for an office environment.
  • Fast paced, deadline-oriented environment.
  • May require periods of non-traditional working hours including consecutive nights or weekends (if applicable).
