SOSi is seeking a highly qualified Senior Information Security Specialist to lead ISSO activities such as CS/IA documentation and reporting and user account management and serve as the Site-Lead for the cybersecurity operations of the Fort Meade, MD team.

Senior Information Security Specialist Duties

• Responsible for using current information security technology disciplines and practices to ensure the confidentiality, integrity and availability of corporate information assets in accordance with established standards and procedures.
• Develops and maintains knowledgebase on changing regulatory, threat, and technology landscapes to continually develop or maintain security policies and standards, and ensure compliance throughout the organization.

 Site Lead Duties

• Accountable for all aspects of requirements and manages the hands-on, day-to-day issues related to operational activities.
• Responsible for operations including security, maintenance, and accountability.
• Responsible for meeting all technical requirements.
• Ensures that processes and network systems facilitate meeting performance requirements.
• Point-of-Contact for issues.
• Is authorized to act on site-specific matters relating to the daily operation of the task order.
• Acts as a “First-Level Supervisor” for site-employees.

• Security Clearance: Must hold a TS/SCI clearance
• Required Experience: Minimum 10+ years of experience with a MA/MS degree or 12+ years of experience with a BA/BS.
• Required Education: MA/MS or BA/BS is acceptable in exchange for having 12+ years of experience.

• Professionally certified as IAT Technical Level II Certifications such as Security +
